The King’s Birthday, Father’s Day 2009 Thailand.

When you have a camera wrapped around your neck at a Thai school, you will often be asked by mothers, ‘take our picture, please.’ Thai women, so many mothers arrive at our school looking like they have just spent over an hour getting ready to just drop their kids off. The funny thing was originally there were only 4 mums until two more were badgered into joining. Back on the 5th of December, we celebrated The King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday, which is also Father’s Day. Brother Sakda then paid respect to the king.

In Thailand, the humor is as prominent as in any other country. Humor on TV in Thailand is given. Both Thai and dubbed programs. Doraemon is a very popular and fun healthy figure in the Thai television and video world. TV advertising is a product that many see as boring. But if advertising is topped with humor, it becomes more easy-going and if you can laugh, I think that advertising goes home better. There might be some study that proves this? Probably.
