www.phuketdining.com http patongdining.com http Kata Beach Phuket Thailand Center 2010 3 Ilove everything about this beach and spend quite a bit of time at it, I live up on the northern end of the beach, if you love to walk, run and swim Kata beach is the place to go, and even during the high season you won't feel crowded, the beach is much more laid back than Patong and the scenery is very gorgeous. I have two of my distance swim routes on this beach; the PU island swim and I also like to swim from the south and make my way to the north end, both swim routes really give you a good swim workout, just be careful on some of the rip currents you will see the flags on the beach, they are located near Club med Resort beach area, so just be cautious when swimming in that area. Maya Beach, Phi Phi Island, Thailand

My trip to Maya Beach (aka paradise) on Phi Phi Island in Thailand. Maya Beach is the place where part of the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed and it is easy to see why - it is amazingly beautiful! If you go, I recommend you visit in the afternoon during low tide.

If you dont know where Bang Tao beach is, the beach is located north of Surin beach, right behind this beach stands Laguna Phuket which has numerous 5 star resorts inside.

Nai Yang beach is a pretty large beach and the open bay to the ocean is always a beautiful setting. I like to come up to Nai Yang about once a week to enjoy these water activities and of course see the beautiful surroundings. If you have always wanted to kite board or wind surf there are 3 -4 good shops that will teach you this sport, most shops offer around the same price for their lessons so you just have to take your pick, if you are traveling in a group, they offer some pretty good group prices

www.phuketdining.com http patongdining.com http Inside Nai Thon Beach Phuket Thailand 2010 Beautiful Nai Thon beach is one of Phukets northern most beaches, if I had to pick a sleepy quite beach Nai Thon beach would be my choice, I have been up to Nai Thon on several occasions and the beach is never crowded, in fact the beach is so peaceful you hardly run into any tourists. The major resort at this beach is the Naithonburi Beach Resort; even with this resort you don't get that much traffic. Nai ThonBeach is very close to the airport about 10 -15 minutes, the road leading into the beach is in good shape, if you want major nightlife, you wont find it here, Patong beach the major nightlife hub is about a 45 minute drive from this location. I love to come up to Nai Thon for one of my distance swims and occasionally I will swim around the point over to Nai Yang beach; Nai Yang beach is on about 5- 7 minutes away, please check my video tour for that beautiful beach.
