It is hard to believe that the last time I updated was back on the 24th of June. I have been very busy as we were given a ridiculous deadline from our school to complete lesson plans for a new book the school had made. The organisation decided last year they would have some senior people put their heads together in conjunction with a publisher from India
Well I am back at school, back to work sadly. This was the first year I really struggled to get motivated to go back to teaching. Even 1 week out before we started the term, I was seriously thinking of not going back.

I was looking through some of the pictures from our short holiday to Pattaya and these are very amusing. It was bloody hot in Pattaya, just like Ubon. Each time we ventured out you would soon be feeling the heat and looking for anything cool. Nong Ja was a champ, she walked a fair bit which is pretty daunting for a tiny little 20 month old
The human brain is a funny thing. It is an amazing thing. I don’t use mine enough at times but the other night for some reason I came up with a great idea

One of the latest museums to open in Thailand is the Siamese Fighting Fish Gallery in Bangkachao in Samut Prakan. It is in an area which is commonly called the “lungs of Bangkok” as it is covered in lush green foliage and is only a stone’s throw away from the busy streets of Bangkok. For Bangkokians who want to escape the pollution during the weekend, they can just catch a ferry boat from Khlong Toei Pier to the other side. These small boats run every 15 minutes and cost only 5 baht

Anti-government rallies are being planned by the red shirts in Bangkok from 12th-14th March 2010. They are hoping for a million protesters though the final figure is expected to be less than half that. However, it is still a sizeable protest and precautions should be made by both residents and tourists.
