A Brain Snap, Isaan Thailand.

The crazy farang struck again. In Thailand I can put with a lot of things and just put it down to TIT (This is Thailand) but one thing that fuc#s me off beyond anything, are dogs that chase people or motorbikes. Thankfully near my house this doesn’t happen, well I thought. Today Ben is having her motorbike serviced just around the corner at our local mechanic, maybe 200mtrs from our house

Scumbags Stealing your Work from the Internet.

Many people who write and then post it to the World Wide Web will have had their content stolen. I am not talking about websites that run a paragraph of your text and it links to your actual website. I am talking about the scumbags and pieces of shit who claim that the work you have done is actually theirs. They copy your text word for word and in a very rare occasion change some text or ad some extra links here and there.

Why I Changed Schools Part 3, Isaan Thailand.

Well, I have written two previous posts on why I left Assumption College Ubon Ratchathani. You can read them at this link or this link if you like to catch up on what happened before. I am not going to recap what happened before and just start from where I left off. So after the head of the department couldn’t get our esteemed brother in charge to understand why they could not deduct (steal) 5,000 baht from my bonus I had no choice but do it myself

Picture Story of Local Elections in Samut Prakan

On Sunday 22nd May 2011, the local elections for the Chairman of the Provincial Administration Organization (PAO) took place in Samut Prakan. Counting of the ballots started in the early evening and continued into the early hours of the morning at each of the District centers. This is the first time I have covered a local election and I thought I would share with you some of the process that happened during that long night.

Sexual Predators Attacks Sicken Me. Australia

Sexual assaults disgust me; of late they seem to be more prevalent. The perpetrators of these crimes are the lowest of the low scumbags. Below are just three cases in the paper from Victoria Australia the last few days. It is so sad that we have to share our air with such people.

Three Students Murdered by Border Patrol Policeman Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand.

Back on the 20th of February I wrote a post called, When Will the Students Killing and Fighting Stop . It was about the imbecile vocational students and their feud that continues to kill some of them, and this I could not care about. But it is the innocent people caught in the crossfire that saddens me and angers me that the Thai government and police are just not doing enough to stop these tools.

Hit and Run in Thailand, Part of Thai Culture.

Sorry as this is a rant. It is about the 19 year old pissant teenager of a wealthy Thai man.

Thai Shadow Puppet Museum

In the old days, before movies and T.V. soap operas, people were entertained with Nang Talung. This is the art of shadow puppets that first became popular in Southern Thailand two or three generations ago. It has since spread to other parts of Thailand, like the north-east, but many people still see it as an art form from the south.

What Would You Do? What Are Your Thoughts?

Now before I say what the punishment should be for the people who did this, what do you think? What would you suggest for these cowardly dogs? I read this report in The Daily Telegraph a newspaper from Sydney in Australia. 59 years old Marie Martin and her 9yo guide dog Lockie were on their daily walk to their local shops.

Thai Sport Parade Isaan Thailand 2010

Well I am going way back to the 3rd of December when we had our sport day, students were dressed up for the parade along Ubon Ratchathani’s main road, walking about 2klms back to the school. The team deemed with the best parade win a trophy for their trouble and every year the outfits are beautiful to bizarre. This year I didn’t see any really wrong (an outfit not suitable for a student) outfits for the parade, but back at the school for the cheer shows a few turned up as per usual

Cola the White Rabbit, Isaan Thailand.

This was the day Cola the white rabbit was one day old, way back on December 13th 2007. My mate who had rabbits had given two rabbits from the previous kit and both died, they were called Latte and Mocha, then this kit came along and we took two more. They were called Cola and Pepsi. Pepsi didn’t live so long dying one night.

Learning Thai Manners: Part 2

Today I am going to continue with some examples of good Thai manners which I see a lot in every-day situations. The pictures today illustrate how to behave at home and when visiting relations and friends.

AFL Grand Final Saturday, Collingwood V St Kilda at N-Joy Ubon Ratchathani Thailand

If you are not an Aussie, then you can probably stop reading right now. This weekend is the Australian Rules (Australian Football League, AFL) Grand Final. At N-Joy the local expat bar owned by my mate Lance, we are having a party, well watching the grand final. The telecast kicks off at 10.30am in the morning and the actual game kicks off at 11.30am

Unhappy Readers with My Views, Get Over It. Thailand.

I am a little surprised at how many people have been upset by my comments of shooting out of control protesters and looters. Brit In Bangkok I stumbled upon her blog a long time ago and have enjoyed her up and down living in Thailand. But I have upset her over my blog post ‘ Ubon Red Shirts Out Of Control’ . She has commented below
