Nai Yang beach is a pretty large beach and the open bay to the ocean is always a beautiful setting. I like to come up to Nai Yang about once a week to enjoy these water activities and of course see the beautiful surroundings. If you have always wanted to kite board or wind surf there are 3 -4 good shops that will teach you this sport, most shops offer around the same price for their lessons so you just have to take your pick, if you are traveling in a group, they offer some pretty good group prices

www.phuketdining.com http patongdining.com http Kata Beach Phuket Thailand Center 2010 4 Ilove everything about this beach and spend quite a bit of time at it, I live up on the northern end of the beach, if you love to walk, run and swim Kata beach is the place to go, and even during the high season you won't feel crowded, the beach is much more laid back than Patong and the scenery is very gorgeous. I have two of my distance swim routes on this beach; the PU island swim and I also like to swim from the south and make my way to the north end, both swim routes really give you a good swim workout, just be careful on some of the rip currents you will see the flags on the beach, they are located near Club med Resort beach area, so just be cautious when swimming in that area.

One of the best features of this beautiful Phuket beach is how wide open it is and no matter whether its high or low season you will never feel crowded.During the monsoon season the surf can get pretty rough, along with the currents so be careful during these periods. If you like to walk the beach Karon beach is one of the best locations; one of the best times to go is during sunrise and sunset, so don't forget your camera.

Parasailing is fun but it is a little bit pricey, during low season a 3 minute ride will run you (1000 Baht), high season can run from 1500 -- 2000 Baht. Jet Ski rental is very popular and also pricey at Patong Beach; just be cautious on who you rent from, having insurance is always a wise choice. Beach chairs rental can cost up to 200 Baht, best bet is just bring a large beach towel

If you dont know where Bang Tao beach is, the beach is located north of Surin beach, right behind this beach stands Laguna Phuket which has numerous 5 star resorts inside. One of my all time favorite swim routes is located right here at Bang Tao, there is an entry point down on the south end and my exit point is about center beach; whole swim is about 2 kilometers and I try to come up here from my home in Kata beach to do this excellent swim. When you arrive on the beach you will also notice plenty of seaside dining areas, take your pick, each one of them are nice to eat at and all of them have a great view of the beautiful Andaman Sea
