Phi Phi Ley Tour - The Adventure Club

A 4 hour tour with The Adventure Club around Phi Phi Ley island, in Krabi, Thailand. The tour visits, Pi-Leh Lagoon, Loh Samah Bay, and Maya Bay (film The Beach). As snorkeling tours go this is unique, with snorkeling encounters with Hawksbill Turtles, 'harmless' Black Tip reef sharks and a myriad of marine life.

So after leaving Koh Phi Phi a few days ago my plan was to head to Koh Pha ngan to meet up with the remaining Raleigh crew and attend the Full Moon party on June 1st. Apparently given the chance, such an event should not be missed, as written in the backpacking folklore of southeast Asia. On the way however I made a stop in Krabi on the southwest coast of Thailand, which was only ever meant to be a 1 night pit-stop. 3 days later I decided to leave.

It was a big ferry boat, but having been told that a big ferry capsized there recently in bad weather, I was still more than a bit nervous! Made it on one piece anyway. Was heading for the resort of Ao Nang and thought I was being smart by taking a boat to the town of Krabi rather than to Ao Nang directly as it left earlier so I thought I'd be there earlier. Wrong! Once I'd taken into account the arguing with taxi drivers who wanted to charge me a stupid amount of money, it wasn't quicker and 2 bus rides later I finally arrived in Ao Nang
