I was reading an interesting article in the Bangkok Post today and you can read here titled, IF Kindness is a Crime . It is about a subject that has been written about and also discussed to death for years but continues to be a problem. The article starts with a passenger in a taxi (who sounds like the Dalai Lama) and they stop at a traffic light. A small girl approaches the taxi with flower garlands but the driver waves her away
I think anyone living in Thailand and reads newspapers or browses the English based newspapers will recognise the picture above. It created outrage and social networks raged for days after this picture was published in Thai papers.
As most people know it is Songkran time here in Thailand. The water festival where we go and throw water for 3 days, travelling in the back of pick-up trucks and drink and toast many people for the Thai New Year. I have reported on the ridiculous death rates form road accidents over the ‘7 deadly days’ as it is known. So far after three days these figures released have been: 116 people have died

Sheila woke at one stage during the night and saw me wrapped in a scarf, she presumed she was dreaming, she wasn't! I had a good sleep once i wrapped up! Anyway we headed out here yesterday Ko tao and we are staying in the Freedom beach resort. Its a secluded resort with a private beach and we are like two lesbians up there on the cliff top cottage and freedom my **** you would need a helicoptor to find the nearest shop.

But anyway all was not to bad with the journey, we eventually got into Phuket but had to make a pit stop at the travel companies office before we got to our destination, as we got off the bus a lady told us that we were the only two going to Phuket town and the driver did not know that area so they were arranging a car for us to take us to the hostel (Just our luck) however 10 mins later a big luxury car turned up with huge (soft on the buttocks) cream leather seats and tv's in the head rests pulled up and said he was taking us to our hostel, so the journey had a happy ending after all. Darkest Isan (where decent thais fear to tread), Part One Wat Prayup The gateway to Isan, already I’m scared to enter. This urban malaise of noise, sweat and dirt seems to be trying its hardest to impersonate Bangkok, three colours of pollution on every street corner.

In Australia there are many road rage incidents reported everyday as people seem to be in such a rush and are very impatient to get anywhere. Our sport day had arrived, and the students had worked hard overnight. I spoke to one of the students from year 11 and he told me that he hasn’t been home, that he and his other classmates slept at the school finishing everything off and getting ready for the parade. Apparently they got 2 hours sleep at the most.
This boat recently arrived in Thailand beaches. An exciting water activities equipment. A motor cycle in water pulls the boat at a great speed while 6-8 people sit in it. After 8-10 minutes water ride in the sea, the driver of the boat turned and force the banana boat people fall in the water.

The gutless cowards always after the fact of committing a crime become remorseful and make up the most pathetic excuses for some halfwit, dimwitted judge to make an erroneous judgment.
