Sorry to regular readers as I have lost motivation to write as much as I used to. Many times I have sat in front of the computer with plans to rant and rave or share something about my ordinary life, but end up doing something else. I wish all readers who read regularly or accidentally stumble upon Isaan Style a happy 2012 and may it be whatever you hope or wish for.

Mr. Joerg Todzy had traveled all the way from Melbourne to visit us at Thai Silk Magic and check out our operation. It was very exciting for all of us at Thai silk Magic as this was the very first time one of our Thai silk customers had made the effort to visit our remote Thai silk village 
Christmas in Soi6 Pattaya Thailand 
The closest I have been to celebrating a Christmas in Thailand are the Christmas lights and the big trees in the shopping malls. If we are lucky, like this year, we might also have a cold wind which will add to the illusion that it is Christmas. But none of this is real as the majority of Thai people are Buddhists and they are just celebrating for fun
3 days update 
Hotel de la Paix means the hotel of peace. White feathers are symbolic worldwide and one meaning is a sign of peace. So this year to commemorate the political improvements in Myanmar, the dawn of a new political era in Thailand, The steps towards true democracy in Malaysia and Singapore, the justice finally being observed in Philippines and of course in view of the festive season, "delaPaix" presents the Arbre de la Paix.

I had complained the other day about my decorations and lights going missing, but my star for the top of the tree returned as did the reindeers. But that was it and I could be bothered asking about all the other things. Nong Ja, she isn’t into wearing girlie clothes but we bought her a nice dress from the Thai cartoon movie Khan Kluay and she happily wore it to the temple for Father’s Day the other weekend
