BANGKOK (AP) — A new taste for eating elephant meat — everything from trunks to sex organs — has emerged in Thailand and could pose a new threat to the survival of the species. Wildlife officials told The Associated Press that they were alerted to the practice after finding two elephants slaughtered last month in a national park in western Thailand. "The poachers took away the elephants' sex organs and trunks ... for human consumption," Damrong Phidet, director-general of Thailand's wildlife agency, said in a telephone interview.

Good old Thailand. I had to block out the name of the school but if you really wanted to find out you can find it easily enough with a Google search. The funny thing is this ad isn’t too bad, I have seen much worse and actually witnessed blatant racism by prospective employers. I can truthfully say that any dark skinned person, another words a black person is pushing shit uphill in most schools to get a job

I reported the other week on Black Caviar an amazing 4yo racehorse winning The Newmarket Handicap . She raced again tonight. Black Caviar has won her 11th straight race.

She is a 4 year old mare and has captured the hearts of racing fanatics and the general public. She was a $210,000 purchase in 2008 from the Inglis Premier Yearling Sales, bought by leading trainer Peter Moody . She has already amassed $1,694,250 dollars in prize money
After the success of Amphawa Floating Market in Samut Songkhram, other communities in the area decided to try their hand at a weekend market. One such example is Bang Nok Kwaek Market which is alongside the Mae Klong River north of Amphawa [ MAP ]. The buildings and market here are actually over one hundred years old, but after the roads were built and less people travelled by boat, the market was practically abandoned.
