Stu is getting married. Along with Doug, Phil, and his soon-to-be brother-in-law Teddy, he regretfully invites Alan to Thailand for the wedding. After a quiet night on the beach with a beer and toasting marshmallows by the camp fire, Stu, Alan and Phil wake up in a seedy apartment in Bangkok. Doug is back at the resort, but Teddy is missing, there's a monkey with a severed finger, Alan's head is shaved, Stu has a tattoo on his face, and they can't remember any of it

Cloudy night in Marin County--not quite as spectacular as one I watched while sleeping on secret beach on Kauai (in '84?) ~but pretty dang cool....I saw another surprise eclipse in Ko Pha Ngan, (Thailand) in '87 (or '89), -- I ran into a beach bar all excited and told the beer drinkers and hell raisers what was happening in the sky and all 30 of 'em just yawned and looked away?!?
I am writing this with a large hangover, well it is much better than it was this morning, well actually around noon when I woke up. Yesterday was the grand final replay between Collingwood V Saint Kilda in the Australian Rules Football (AFL), the week before both teams drew at the end of fulltime, so they returned yesterday, being Saturday to again try and find a winner. And a winner was found, my team the Mighty Magpies gave a football lesson to Saint Kilda who were not in the same league. The final score was 15 – 12 = 108 to 7 – 10 = 52.
