Nai Yang beach is a pretty large beach and the open bay to the ocean is always a beautiful setting. I like to come up to Nai Yang about once a week to enjoy these water activities and of course see the beautiful surroundings. If you have always wanted to kite board or wind surf there are 3 -4 good shops that will teach you this sport, most shops offer around the same price for their lessons so you just have to take your pick, if you are traveling in a group, they offer some pretty good group prices.

www.phuketdining.com http patongdining.com http Rawai Beach Phuket Thailand 2010 2 Rawai Beach Phuket is located on the eastern side of Phuket Island, the eastern shore beaches are not the best to swim in, I often, about once a week head down to Chalong pier and swim the length of the beach, the water is very clean and I would recommend it to any beach goers. One of the most beautiful sites on Phuket is the Thai fishing boats, when you arrive to Rawai, you will be amazed at all the beautiful fishing boats anchored in the water, during sunrise the view could not be more pristine, be sure to bring your camera, you will get some excellent Rawai bay shots with the surrounding islands in the background, I believe if you kept at it enough you could probably get some good post card material camera shots here, it really is that beautiful.

www.phuketdining.com http patongdining.com http Nai Thon Beach Phuket Thailand 2010 3 Beautiful Nai Thon beach is one of Phukets northern most beaches, if I had to pick a sleepy quite beach Nai Thon beach would be my choice, I have been up to Nai Thon on several occasions and the beach is never crowded, in fact the beach is so peaceful you hardly run into any tourists. The major resort at this beach is the Naithonburi Beach Resort; even with this resort you don't get that much traffic. Nai ThonBeach is very close to the airport about 10 -15 minutes, the road leading into the beach is in good shape, if you want major nightlife, you wont find it here, Patong beach the major nightlife hub is about a 45 minute drive from this location

Beautiful Mai Khao Beach Phuket is located on the northwest coast of Phuket; this beach is 11 km and for the most part is still undeveloped. We visit Mai Khao beach on a regular basis and for the most part the beach only has a few folks on it, one thing you will notice is the sand is a bit coarser than most other southern Phuket beaches.
