This is one of the prettiest beaches in Phuket; the beach is not that large, but the beauty of it is breath taking. I love this Phuket beach for several reasons; the first, it is an excellent beach for body boarding and surfing especially on the north end, second, a great beach for walking and running on, especially during sunrise and sunset and third, the beach in never overwhelming with beach goers, even during the high season. If you really want a good view of this beach from the north end from a high point go over to Mom Tris Villa Royale and go to the dining section, here you will find one of the most beautiful views of this beach, check out my video from this location you will be amazed.

www.phuketdining.com http patongdining.com http Tri Trang Beach Phuket Thailand 2010 3 Ahh beautiful Tri Trang beach, you can find this beautiful beach in front of the Merlin resort, Tri Trang beach is excellent for snorkeling; the beach is not the best for just swimming due to the coral and make sure you check the tide schedule before you go. Another way to get to this beach is via the Tri Trang Beach resort entrance the hill is a bit steep going down so be careful. Once you arrive at the bottom there is a dirt road that runs the length of the beach. Note: don't park your car underneath the coconut trees could cause you some damage.

I have two of my distance swim routes on this beach; the PU island swim and I also like to swim from the south and make my way to the north end, both swim routes really give you a good swim workout, just be careful on some of the rip currents you will see the flags on the beach, they are located near Club med Resort beach area, so just be cautious when swimming in that area. Today's swim is from Nai Thon Beach Phuket to Nai Yang Beach Phuket(Center) the whole swim takes about an hour depending upon the surf conditions, today the surf was not to bad, although the current pushes you south throughout the swim .
