HUA HIN, Thailand Cambodia and Thailand traded barbs at an Asian summit Friday after Cambodia's prime minister offered fugitive former Thai leader Thaksin Shinawatra a safe haven and job as an adviser. Hun Sen, the outspoken Cambodian premier, further riled the hosts of the annual meeting by comparing the plight of the ousted Thaksin to that of detained Myanmar democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi. In Thailand, the humor is as prominent as in any other country. Humor on TV in Thailand is given. Both Thai and dubbed programs. Doraemon is a very popular and fun healthy figure in the Thai television and video world. TV advertising is a product that many see as boring. But if advertising is topped with humor, it becomes more easy-going and if you can laugh, I think that advertising goes home better. There might be some study that proves this? Probably.
